Our story began with a lifelong passion for automotive excellence. From a young age, our founder, Joe Murphy, recognised the need for premium detailing services that reflect the true beauty and craftsmanship of the cars he grew up admiring. At only 18 years old and just four days after finishing his A-Level exams he launched a business - determined to deliver premium detailing services with uncompromising quality. Over the months that followed, Joe built a reputation rooted in precision, trust, and passion.
By October 2025, his vision had grown. Joe was thinking bigger and decided he wanted to scale, bringing the highest level of care and protection to more. But he knew he couldn’t deliver this vision alone.
That’s when Finn Powell joined as co-owner. A passionate car enthusiast with a similar ethos and a fresh wave of ideas. His skill, creativity, and relentless drive became the perfect complement to Joe’s dedication to excellence and ambition.
Together, they set out to redefine what premium detailing services truly means.
From day one, our mission has never been just about detailing cars, it’s been about raising the standard of what automotive care can be. As the business evolved, so did our commitment to becoming the very best, not only in the services we provide but in the experience we create for every client who chooses us.

Hi! I'm Joe, the founder and co-owner of GlossLabs Detailing.
I've always had a passion for the automotive world, which started when I was little - watching the Top Gear classics after school. I'd always dreamt I could turn that passion into something unique, so this really is my dream come true!
My role is to focus on building an unmissable brand, putting the blocks in place to deliver the best service to clients around the UK and beyond. If I were to describe myself in 3 words I would say I am, honest, creative and determined. I love being challenged and pushing myself to constantly think bigger.
I'm driven to build something unique, to take an industry I'm passionate about and redefine it. From breathtaking results to an unmatched experience for our clients my mission is simple, to be the best!

It's safe to say I've been totally captivated by the world of cars as long as I can remember. I'd always wanted to make a career around the cars I loved, and so GlossLabs has really become a part of who I am.
I specialise within the company in delivering unmatched professional detailing, leading a passionate team and ensuring everyone who comes through the companies doors receives the best experience possible. If I was asked to describe myself in just 3 words I would say I'm, passionate, meticulous and outgoing. I take huge pride the process of working on a vehicle, I love to take my time, paying attention to each minor detail.
For me, GlossLabs is not just another detailing company. It's about quality, trust and delivering an experience that is as memorable as the result.
